EBS January 2026 User Release Notes

The January 2026 EBS release brings clearer analysis alerts, smoother experiment management, smarter data uploads, stronger security, and improved system stability across all modules. From sharing Molecular Data results to managing crosses and germplasm more easily, everything now works more reliably so you can focus on your breeding work with confidence.

Results of parental purity analyses are enhanced.

A purity testing by internal consensus request that has only one sample per germplasm now returns a result of ‘TRUE’ to indicate that it is a 100% match with itself, even if some alleles are found to be heterozygous.

The following actions can now be performed reliably in MDA without issue:

  1. view the F1 Hybridity Results data browser, such that no extra germplasm name column is displayed, and
  2. access genotyping results in MDA as it becomes available in the Request Manager tool.
